ORIENTATION
A strong start
The AspenOne Orientation Curriculum introduces you to Aspen Dental’s Mission, Values and Behaviors, the foundation for a successful and lasting career.

AspenOne New Hire Orientation is a 90-minute virtual introduction to the organization.

The AspenOne Orientation Journey is a 90-day program that helps team members and their managers successfully navigate their first three months with the organization.
CONTINUING DENTAL EDUCATION
Ongoing education for a thriving career
At Aspen Dental, training and development is an important component of all of our  success. Continuing education prepares you for industry change and supports a self-learning approach to continuous quality improvement. 

Supporting Aspen Dental’s purpose – “helping patients get the care they need” – is a substantial catalog of in-person, virtual, and self-paced courses offering over 200 continuing education credits. 

Aspen Dental team members also enjoy access to aspendentallearning.com, a third-party platform offering a regular cadence of live webinars and over 1,000 hours of self-paced e-learning and podcasts.

Aspen Dental Management Inc. is an ADA CERP-recognized Continuing Education Provider and a Nationally Approved PACE Program Provider for FAGD and MAGD credit.

The Aspen Dental Doctor Learning Journey is a blended learning experience designed to ground you in the Aspen Dental business model and take your career to the next level. HYGIENISTS
Joining the Aspen Dental family
To prepare you for your transformative experience as an Aspen Dental hygienist, you’ll take part in our Hygiene Onboarding Program, a blended learning experience that starts your first day on the job. During onboarding, you’ll:
  • Learn shoulder-to-shoulder with your Hygienist Trainer​
  • Take virtual classes
  • Observe treatments
  • Learn Aspen Dental patient-care processes
  • Train to use our treatment and record-keeping technology
  • Learn how to take advantage of our HR and employee support programs

The learning doesn’t stop after onboarding. You'll have continuing opportunities to learn about implants and clear aligners, and to work with your Hygiene Support Team to continue your development with opportunities like the Perio Masters program.​​

DENTAL ASSISTANTS
Preparing to deliver quality care
In preparation for a career in the dental industry, the DA Onboarding Program is a blended learning experience that provides the foundational clinical skills of a high performing dental office while developing skills to take on more responsibilities, propelling your career to new heights with additional offerings like the DALE/DANB program. Skills you’ll learn and sharpen include:
  • Getting to know the Aspen Culture and practice model
  • Room preparation, infection prevention, sterilization & maintenance
  • Radiography and patient charting
  • Denture basics
  • Impressions
  • Extractions & surgeries
  • And much more

After onboarding, you can continue to learn and grow with TAG U’s virtual learning programs.

FRONT OFFICE OPERATIONS
Helping patients get the care they need
Members of an Aspen Dental practice’s front office team are key to the office’s success. Our front office learning journeys will help you hone all the skills you need.
The learning experience starts your first day on the job. Your learning includes:
  • Clinical knowledge - Gaining knowledge of dentistry from anatomy and terminology to procedure names, process and timing
  • Front office Daily Operations - patient intake, scheduling patient visits, handling insurance, billing and payments
  • The Consult – From entering treatment plans accurately into the system, presenting insurance benefits, helping a patient to apply for financing, to ultimately getting patients the care they need
  • Managing the lab
  • Metrics and the behaviors that drive them
  • Working effectively with clinicians and the entire office team

DENTAL LAB TECHNICIANS
Creating better smiles

Our Lab Tech learning journey allows you to work side-by-side with a certified trainer, gaining comprehensive, hands-on experience. As part of your onboarding, you will gain insight into patient outcomes and witness the impact of your work. You’ll also:  

  • Practice every phase of denture fabrication, from impression evaluation to final insertion. 

  • Receive CDT reimbursement if you are an experienced Lab Technician. 

  • Access specialized courses on implant restoration and other advanced topics for ongoing professional growth. 

  • Work with cutting-edge, industry-leading equipment. 

  • Unlock opportunities to manage your own lab.
